Our two oldest got invited to a couple of their friends houses for sleepovers last Friday night. When I picked up our oldest daughter last Saturday, she commented that she didn't feel good. I wrote it off to her staying up very, very late, and told her to go hop in her bed when we got home. We went and picked up her brother (#1 child), and when we got to that home, our oldest daughter said, "Dad, I think I'm going to throw up. DAD, I THINK I'M GOING TO THROW UP!" She was still in the back seat of the car, so I got out, literally pulled her out of the car, and she threw up all over the driveway of Eth's friend's house. I apologized to the family for the sickness stuff on their driveway, and we went home.
Sunday, the vast majority of people stayed home from church.
Monday, children #2 & #3 stayed home from school and went to the doctor's. They have some beastie that does goofy things to the digestive and respiratory systems.
Tuesday, all 5 children have it. Kris is starting to feel the effects of something and has her parents come take her to the ER to get checked out. Given her history, that was a very good thing.
Wednesday, I'm trying to help out around the house while Kris is dealing with the sickness more than the children. For whatever reason, it impacted her quite a bit. and again, the children spend most of the time laying down attempting to rest. Some were even in their beds before 7pm.
Thursday, I'm here at work trying to get caught up with things missed yesterday and keeping my head above water. Hopefully everyone is doing ok at home. I'm tired.
